Water quality
Cooling water is very important medium involved in tempering process. It is used as heat transfer medium. The quality requirements of water used in temperature controllers are very high. Water quality affects the operation of the device, as it may lead to the formation of deposits in heat exchangers and heating elements, fouling of system, scaling or corrosion. Water quality also affects the life of the device as so its warranty. The standard warranty is granted for a period of 12 months, but under certain conditions it is possible to extend.
The following table lists the requirements for the quality of water used in temperature controllers.
